Homeowners observed giant hailstones measuring up to 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.

Response teams were attempting to repair energy supply throughout the damaged zones, with approximately seventy teams deployed to manage the widespread outages.
Southern State's Storm Challenges
Meanwhile, approximately 1,000 energy customers in Victoria also faced electricity disruptions after the metropolitan area saw its heaviest rainfall in 18 months.
Rescue organizations received over five hundred requests for assistance across the area, primarily for building damage but also for downed trees and inundation.

Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across different parts of both states.
